Violet MoonRain McBride

Violet MoonRain McBride received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Tufts University in 2003.  After completing her degree she worked as a media activist, went on to study energetic bodywork and crystal healing, and then received a powerful spiritual awakening at the age of 24.  Soon-after, Violet was led into her formal apprenticeship in Shamanic Healing with Lenore Norrgard and the Circle of the Living Earth.  Afterwards, she went on to create the Temple of the Sacred Mother – a visionary earth temple project that traveled to several festivals and Burning Man in 2007.
   From there, Violet was brought to Kauai where she was called to live in the jungle wilderness for four months, remembering the ways of the Earth under the teachings of the being of Grandmother Kauai and the Queen of the Forest.  Here she was received into the lineage of the Plant Spirit Teachers of the Amazon, under whom she has undergone an intensive initiation process over the last three years.
  Violet recently returned from a pilgrimage to Ireland where she received the healing lineage of her ancestral namesake, the Goddess Brigid.  She carries the Mayan frequencies of the Guardian of the West, Blue Resonant Eagle, and the higher aspect of Red Planetary Skywalker.  She is currently serving as a founding member and priestess of the Goddess Temple of Ashland.
